Waking, and reaching for a pen, I spontaneously drew the above, this morning. I have no idea why.
Two new poems in this month’s Egregious, about a pair of uncles, and based only partially on ABSOLUTE FACT. They’re taken from my novel-in-poems Mavor’s Bones, written several years ago, which absolutely no one would publish. Other “chapters” have appeared in Barnwood, Grain, Strange Horizons, Inscribed, Spring, Poesia, and others. And speaking of Barnwood, I have two new poems in this month's edition: "CHURCH'LL (The Hundred-Year-Old Woman)," which is pure fancy, and "Green Bottles," which isn't.
“Willow, Salamander and Moon,” a poem I’ve been peddling a while, now, has won the Moontown Monthly Poetry Contest for January.
That’s really all I can think of. Except that I’m bored to death.
